L’Atelier Óptica and Daniel Chong together at Madrid Fashion Week

Daniel Chong is in a good moment: he has just presented his new collection “Old School” with which he makes the leap into the textile world. And it fills us with pride and joy to tell you that L’Atelier Óptica has accompanied the designer’s proposals on the catwalk.

The center of Madrid has been the scene of the Madrid Fashion Week’s opening organized by the Association of Fashion Creators of Spain. And it has been done it with the “Madrid is Fashion” event, within which Daniel Chong has organized the parade presentation of his new “Old School” textile collection.

La Serrería Belga was the place chosen for the launch of a collection that, like its accessories, respects sustainable processes with recycled materials. And that’s something we love about Daniel Chong and that unites us! We love the environment and sustainability!

Dozens of attendees enjoyed several models paraded with Daniel Chong’s proposals to fill our closets. And we were able to do our part by also dressing the eyes of these models. Several of our glasses, from brands such as Nina Mur, Vava, Jacques Marie Mage, Ophy, Matsuda, Vue DC or Peter And May, complemented the looks proposed by the designer.

In addition to a large representation of influencers, bloggers and personalities from the world of fashion and culture, the parade was attended by, among others, the President Councilor of the Central District of Madrid, Carlos Segura Gutiérrez, and the General Director for Real and Effective Equality of LGTBI People, Julio del Valle. In addition, members of the December 26 Foundation paraded, an organization that fights to improve the quality of life of LGTBIQ+ seniors.
