Madrid Design Festival: design comes to Madrid in a new edition
At L’Atelier Óptica we admire design in all its aspects. We love glasses with exclusive designs but also any artistic field in which design is the protagonist. For this reason, we are very much looking forward to the next edition of the Madrid Design Festival that will be held in the Exhibition Hall of the Centro Cultural de la Villa Fernán Gómez from February 1st to March 13th.
During six weeks, the Madrid Design Festival will host all the works that are part of the official selection of this contest that wants to claim the value of design and its transformative capacity. It is also a great opportunity to give visibility to the creativity and talent of our country.
Last year almost 390,000 people visited the work of more than 500 creators who participated in any of the 200 activities that were part of the Madrid Design Festival.
Admission will be free and can be enjoyed from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00am to 9:00pm. As always, it will cover different disciplines of design: architecture, graphic design, communication, interior design …
The MDF program, which can be consulted on its official website, includes the Festival OFF which compiles a variety of showrooms, shops, workshops, galleries … It is ultimately a perfect showcase for all artists to show their work, announce their news and bring design closer to the general public.
In addition, great designers of national and international prestige will be at Madrid DesignPRO that will take place from the 17 to the 19 of February at the Francisco Giner del los Ríos Foundation. Through talks, master classes and networking sessions, the capacity of design to transform and improve society will be reflected upon.
